Estamos desenvolvendo um projeto de pesquisa no Instituto de Psiquiatria do Hospital das Clínicas de São Paulo (HCFMUSP), no qual aplicaremos técnicas de meditação para ajudar no tratamento do transtorno obsessivo compulsivo (TOC).
O projeto foi aceito pelo Comitê de Ética e Pesquisa e está na fase de recrutamento dos pacientes.
Serão aceitas 50 pessoas com diagnóstico estabelecido de TOC, com idades entre 18 e65 anos, de ambos os sexos.
As práticas serão gratuitas e conduzidas semanalmente, por médicos que apresentam experiência com as práticas de meditação.
Por rigor científico, os nomes das técnicas de meditação não podem ser divulgadas para que os grupos sejam distribuídos deforma aleatória, sem que um grupo saiba o conteúdo do outro.
